Why do you transfer some dogs to other rescues?

Transferring dogs to rescues gives them a much better chance at finding their forever homes. Many rescues have more resources and a broader network, allowing the dogs greater exposure to potential adopters. We often transfer dogs with medical needs to rescues that can provide the specialized care and funding required. Like us, these rescues handle vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, leash testing, and adoption placements—but they also often have dedicated facilities where people can visit and meet the dogs in person. Since we are a completely volunteer-based organization, our manpower and resources can only go so far, making these partnerships with rescues invaluable to helping more dogs get the second chance they deserve.
